Yay another one finished on my 888 list. I choose this book, as I remember reading it in high school and whilst i couldn’t recall the majority of the story, had enjoyed the lessons in which we read it.

A decade later, this became my dinner time book, which is why it’s taken from finishing Bill Bryon til now to complete. The first parts of the story came back to me in a flash, but everything after leaving Moonfleet was like a new read. It isn’t a book I would normally choose to read and as the tale is quite maudling, probably one I won’t read again for at least another decade. However, due to the morales in the story, it still remains an obvious choice for teaching in schools.

I am Elizabeth Bennet!

Take the Quiz here!

You are Elizabeth Bennet of Pride & Prejudice! You are intelligent, witty, and tremendously attractive. You have a good head on your shoulders, and oftentimes find yourself the lone beacon of reason in a sea of ridiculousness. You take great pleasure in many things. You are proficient in nearly all of them, though you will never own it. Lest you seem too perfect, you have a tendency toward prejudgement that serves you very ill indeed.
