Tomorrow, we’re officially into the second half of the year and I’ve read about half of the books I’m meant to have done at this point! I’ve also got really bad at writing up my reviews, but when I have a spare few minutes I will definitely do so! In the meantime, I am updating my 888 page (link on the left) each time i finish a book.

This is a pic of my niece taken almost 3 years ago now(!) on a very bright sunny day. My niece, Siama, is also very bright, in that she has a lovely, sunny personality and also very clever, so she can be called as bright as a button I feel I should also point out that she is much more grown up now and too big for Barbie!

I’m not convinced that this is a definite guide to understanding philosophy, but it touches on the main ideas and the jokes used to illustrate the points are usually quite good. The collaboration of the authors works well to give an entertaining yet informative read. One I’d definitely recommend to any one wishing to dip their toes into understanding what philosophy is about.
