For those of you who don’t know, I’m now doing a distance learning course for A level pure maths. Considering my last attempt at distance learning involved several people shouting at and threatening me to make me do it, this one’s going quite well!

I spoke to my tutor on the phone last week and feel confident I can ask her questions if anything doesn’t make sense. Have now posted my first assesment off. Eight questions, of which the first 5 were ok, the next 2 needed a lot of working out and the last just hurt my head! Will just have to wait for the results now.

So the plan for tonight is working on the time I spent on the first assesment and the lessons that went before it trying to put together a study plan for when the next assesment and the following ones will be posted off!

And then I may even start on the next lesson…

For anyone that doesn’t already know, Tess is pregnant! :-)

The scan is really clear, so you can see the head and feet, but just so Steve doesn’t get too unbearable in work (love ya hunny x) we’ve named the baby ‘Blob’ for now!

The pic has been stolen from Tess’s blog, as despite promising to bring in my camera to get a copy of it last weekend, I completely forgot!

Anyways, once again congratulations and big hugs to the expectant parents!

On at the Plaza tonight…one more Classic film to tick off my ‘films I really should see list’

Real Women, Real Lives. Tailor-made for Women, The Naked Truth, is the next unmissable Comedy Play from Dave Simpson, the writer of the hit comedy “Girls Night Out”. Set in a pole dancing class (the latest get-fit craze) ‘The Naked Truth’ is a brilliantly funny Play about sisterhood.

A top class Cast, teams up stars from Stage and Screen; including Lisa Riley (the larger than life star of Emmerdale & Fat Friends); Pauline Fleming (Coronation Street), Sarah White (Brookside) and Jo Farrell (Crossroads) in an all female cast.

It’s a women thing, as five very different women struggle hilariously to conquer pole dancing for a Charity event to raise awareness and money for breast cancer.

As their stories unfold and unravel, they share laughter and tears in this hilariously, sad and ultimately moving Play. The Naked Truth is a poignant and uplifting comedy, a call to all women and celebrating strength through adversity. It’s a Show for women, about women, that men absolutely must see (if they dare!)

Before anyone calls me for taking Rupert to see this, it was his idea and he njoyed it! If anyone gets the chance to go and see it I promise, you will laugh til your sides hurt :)
