When it comes to religion, you’re a non-believer (simple as that). You prefer to think about what’s known and proven. You don’t need religion to solve life’s problems. Instead, you tend to work things out with logic and philosophy.

Hmmm still considering doing R.E as an A level. In theory, I think I would enjoy writing the essays needed for the course, but am worried the syllabus would be mainly focussed on Christianity and no real comparison to other religions….may just carry on with the building of my own knowledge without getting a piece of paper to show what I know for this subject…

Seeing as I have the day off work, do I do what i should and listen to the match on the radio, whilst doing the work I need to do, or say bo**ocks to it and go to the pub to watch the match?

Will need to talk Bert into watching Man U again if I go pub, as he currently considers himself to be the reason they’ve lost the games they have this season….and ppl say I have an overinflated ego

I still can’t believe Kath has never watched the Muppet Movie!

I will go to ikea after work, they will have everything I want in stock, it will be delivered when I want it to be, when there is someone (anyone) in the house and it will all be put together as if by magic or thats the way my masterplan goes….

We had our xmas meal, courtesy of smile, at The Ashlea tonight, as always the food was gorgeous and very filling…just disappointed that as I didn’t order off the xmas menu, I wasn’t allowed the xmas pud

Afterwards it was into town with Sarah, Stace, Kir and Helen. We went to a bar on Deansgate for a cocktail that I was told I had to try, only to find out after a few sips it had lemon juice in it…not been sick yet, but the night’s still young.

So there we were all sat down, when a bloke sat quite close starting movin round in a very drunken way like he was having a fit, whilst the rest of us were content to laugh at his ‘dancing’ Helen felt she had to check he was OK. Turns out it was a police xmas night out as well and he just thought he could handle his beer and dance ahem…even more amusing when he then tries chatting up Helen whilst the rest of us were blatantly laughing at him. So Helen escapes to the loo and he starts flirting with another girl, who then annouces to us, he arrested her 6 months ago for prostitution!

Thing about Manchester is you can always find someone weirder than you to talk to…unfortunately, there are also the idiots out there as well, including an especially drunk bloke who looked old enough to know better who tried starting an arguement with us in subway grrrr

Oh and hugs to Mr Fillingham who can always be relied upon for a drunken conversation at 1 in the morning, except when he needs the loo

So we had a team meeting today, in which Em announced the 1-9 team is going to split, not exactly news for me, as the second team was the one I was meant to be managing had I not died on my arse in the assessment days. Apparently, this will all be in place before Xmas and she would like us to support the new step up manager, who will be taking over the other team. I was very well behaved and didn’t die laughing there and then.

She also mentioned that I would be more than likely put on new managers team to give him the support he needs. Again was very good, I just gripped her afterwards and politley asked if that meant my change of hours request (that only Kir and Naz know about on the team) had been declined. I got told, no it was still under review, with possibly more info to follow tomorrow.

On the plus point, she seemed to react well to my reasons for moving including the part where I mentioned I can come in hung over, feeling like sh*te and still get half of the team sales for the day….must remember that am no longer working with Kev and Anna and brutal honesty scares people…
