So a couple of weeks ago I called NTL to ask them to charge me thr right amount for the broadband I use, as I didn’t want an upgrade, no problem they say that’ll be sorted out for you…fair enough, also asked to remove the films bit from the tv so again am not paying for a service I don’t use, again not a problem.
Last week I get my bill, they’ve refunded the full months movies and just charged me part month for the sports fair enough, but then have recharged me part month for broadband and in the full month section have charged me twice! £17.99 and£24.99!!!! So downgrading has actually meant this month I have to pay more than I usually do grrr Another call to customer services, apologies and was told it’d be refunded to my next bill…I hang up and ten minutes later the broadband goes off.
Needing to go to work at this point, I unplug the box in the vain hope that it’ll all work when I get back…of course it isn’t though. So a call to the tech team and I’m told, ‘customer services have cut you off, I can’t see why, so you have to ring them on Monday’. grrrrrrrr
So I call customer services, they apologise again and say they accidentally cut me off when trying to stop me being charged twice…it’ll be back on in an hour.
Guess what? It wasn’t – so another call to tech and they’ve reinstated my account the wrong way round….it’s now back on a week later…and I’m expecting more refunds than charges on my next bill!
Went to the docs tonight, good news is I don’t have tonsilitis….I do have the beginnings of a throat infection though
Have been ordered to take plenty of fluids *rolls eyes*. Also asked about why i seem to be bruising easier and for longer, have been told I’ll need a blood test to confirm it, but he thinks it’s gonna be the old issue of low platelets *rolls eyes again* Apparently if they’ve fallen below a certain level, I’m gonna need a transfusion – not impressed though, as the first appointment I could make for blood tests with the nurse was 23rd December! :-O

Midway through both his training and his coming-of-age, Harry wants to get away from the Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with his friends, Hermione and Ron and his family. Harry develops a crush on a schoolmate and gets to represent Hogwarts in a competition against two other wizard schools. It comes down to a face-off between Harry and You-Know-Who that ends in tragedy.
This film had a lot to live up to, as Kath told me she liked it!
Both me and Flis were impressed at how much of the book was managed to be fitted into the film, which although 3 hours long seemed to fly by. Am sure there were bits of the film that I missed, so may have to watch it agin
Mrs. Laura Henderson (Judi Dench) may be a widow but she is by no means going to spend the rest her days playing bridge. The Windmill Theater becomes her game and the infamous showman Vivian Van Dam (Bob Hoskins) becomes her partner and fiercest opponent. The Germans are bombing London but the roar of the Windmill is all that can be heard, as Laura convinces Lord Cromer (Christopher Guest) to allow her actresses to be the one thing no one could ever imagine: Nude. Brought to its knees by war, what Mrs. Henderson Presents brings a nation to its feet in applause.
This one’s described as a drama and comdey – I wouldn’t have instictively called it as such, but thinking back, there were quite a few laugh out loud parts. I don’t usually like war films, but this one certainly doesn’t glamourise the world wars, in fact does the opposite and reminds the viewer of how many young lives were lost. One I’d recommend, just to see how everyone else reacts to it, as I enjoyed it, but am not sure what about it I enjoyed!

Have fun and make sure you give me my money back soon!
