Back by popular demand….

Hope everyone has a fun Halloween :-)

Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits bereft in the land of the living. Although life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love.

Similar to Kinky Boots, in that it has scope to be so much funnier, but still easy enough to watch. Now one to race out to see, but if you’re there then you might as well watch it….

Ever wondered about Chinese Medicines and Therapies….. click here to go to my friend lily’s site…if you live near by and book an appointment, don’t forget to say I sent you ;-)

Ebay buyers beware! Over a month ago, I tried to buy a very cute looking snowglobe from ‘mydisneystuff’ and paid within seconds of the auction finishing. A couple fo weeks later, no parcel, so I send him a message asking where it is – he has computer problems, but will post asap. Fair enough – a couple of weeks after that I e-mail again – apparently it’s out of stock. At this point I check his feedback and whilst it’s well in the high 90%’s a lot complain about slow postage and these computer problems seem to have been going on for months. I ask for my payment back, which is done quickly enough.

Tonight i get an e-mail from Ebay saying he’s filing a complaint against me and wants me to pay his listing fees! Cheeky f****r grrrrrrrrrrrrr

1/. If you put bathroom cleaner on fresh blood, the blood doesn;t stain your very pale carpet that would look really obvious if it had dried on blood on it…

2/. In the world according to Arv, if you don’t have yin and yang, you’d be left with yong! This was the logical reply to a request for less negativity on the team!

3/. Thanks to Paul….. do a ‘I feel lucky’ google search for failure
and now time for bed…..

Not impressed as had a huge nosebleed when I got home from the casino followed by another this morning and the smaller ones throughout the day. Was getting looks of concern from my team, not sure if they were more worried that I’d faint or that I might spill blood on them

Got a phone call from Mum to say her sinusistus was also bad and she was getting nosebleeds as well, but not as badly. She also mentioned that my ex landlord is in this week’s Manchester Metro as a huge python was found in one of the flats he rents. Apparently it was found on a Saturday night and Mr Fitz had raced to the tenants rescue…this amused me as in my experience, as lovely a bloke as he is, he never races anywhere!

Found a new way to scare the team, we went for a meal and a bit of gambling at the casino tonight and I only drank diet coke for most of the night. The logic of ‘I have to be in work in the morning’ didn’t wash, esp not with Kev who talked me into having a drink.

Did well, didn’t lose any of my money…mainly because it wasn’t mine I was gambling with! :-)

The best thing about being sober when others aren’t though is that I remember everything said, and for once i’m not necessarilly referring to Kev

Hope you have a great day

Apparently the game looked bad on tv, it looked even worse from inside the ground having had to pay to watch it! For me it really highlighted how much Rooney was missed. Despite being Giggs 100th game in Europe, the atmosphere was dull to be polite and the players didn’t seem to have any hunger for the game. Even if we’d have lost there was have been more passion, but as it was it ended nil nil and has to have been one of the most boring games I have ever watched.

At least you know you’ll get more enthusiasm for your £30 at next week’s match against Barnet…maybe the senior squad should learn something from the kids…
