writing that falsely endows nonhuman things with human intentions and feelings, such as “angry clouds” and “sad trees.”

One of the most overused examples is in films where the weather portrays human emotion.

Today there was a violent thunderstorm around the pyramid whilst at work….how fitting, as I was really annoyed that we trekked (OK Marc drove) to McD’s at lunch and they didn’t have any veggie melts…large fries for lunch for me grrrrrr

40-year-old Andy Stitzer (Steve Carrell) has done quite a few things in his life. He’s got a cushy job stamping invoices at an electronics superstore, a nice apartment with a proud collection of action figures and comic books, good friends, a nice attitude. But there’s just one little thing he hasn’t quite gotten around to doing yet–something most people have done by his age.

Full of completely cringe worthy moments that made me cry laughing….go see

Ok, so Anna’s next question is:

‘Why did you start your blog?’

Steve talked me into starting a blog and originally hosted me on Tkey. When he moved out I moved over to badangel just because I could (me stubborn never  ) I like having somewhere to record my thoughts and be able to look back at what I’ve done, even just the daft stuff like going to the pub. It also helps when I’m in reflective mood, even if it’s just posting lyrics rather than what I’m actually thinking…

So next question:

‘What song do you have in your head right now and why’s it there?’

I can’t get over how small the room at Islington Academy is – it gave a whole new meaning to he word intimate. The singer from the supporting act was actually stood in the front of the crowd as the stage was just big enough for the 2 sets of drums and the guitarists. The support weren’t the worse I’ve heard…. The drummer amused me by coming on to stage and immediately taking off his top to reveal a not bery toned body….and the fact he was wearing purple boxers with green cut off shorts

Naz were just as good as last time, with Pete and Dan really playing the crowd. Lee’s still the only person who can look good in army combats and a white vest!

‘Turn on your receiver,
There’s a message coming through’

Off to London for the gig tonight, will be staying at Kath’s and catching up with Lily tomorrow :-) More when I get home…

Well not until the final minutes of extra time – no. Judging from the scoreline (we lost 2-4 after et), it’d be easy for ppl not there to say we got slaughtered, but that wasn’t the case at all. We scored first, and when they scored their second, we equalised within seconds. Jury’s still out on Jamie’s performance for the night, on the one hand he let four in and can’t kick straight to save his life, but on the other the saves he did make were amazing and the defence can also be blamed for not stopping the goals.

Until the last minute, I thought we could take it to penalties and it would have been a fairer reflection of the match to go out that way (although if it had have gone to penalties we may have gone through), but wasn’t to be :-(

Ok me and Anna have a new game, we ask each other questions and post the answers on our blogs with the next question to answer…

So for starters Anna’s asked me:

What’s your earliest childhood memory?

I have quite a few early memories from when I was about 2-3 all at my nan’s where we were living…one has to be the paddling pool in the back garden. When we were little it seemed huge, but I think I’d just about fit into it now… Me and Cherisse used to spend almost all summer in it, with random other people from time to time …poss including Bres.

Anyways…back to Anna:

What’s the best present you’ve ever received?

As promised I was at the Civic today to donate blood. Sarah came as well, but was told her veins were too thin so couldn’t donate. She wasn’t upset as she got to sit there and scoff the free bikkies!

Had an unexpected visit from Glyn, Bev, Marc and Stef today, which pleased Nan. Stef has his own site, if you take a look try not to laugh too hard. I wanted to dent his scrote image by commenting he’ll always be steffie weffie to me, but he doesn’t havea guest book
