The pictures taken at Discovery Cove have now been added to the gallery. Click on the pic above to take a look
Well we’re back. Am going to put my head down for a bit, but will do a blow by blow recall of what we’ve been up to for the past 2 weeks and update the gallery with pics at some point soon.
For anyone wondering why my phone stopped receiving texts from Thursday on…I found out it doesn’t bounce
There is a new virus. The code name is “Work”.If you receive Work from your colleagues, your boss, via e-mail or from anyone else, do not touch it under any circumstances. This virus wipes out your private life completely. If you should happen to come in contact with this virus, take two friends and go straight to the nearest bar. Order drinks immediately and after three rounds, you will find that Work has been completely deleted from your brain. Forward this virus warning immediately to at least five friends.
Should you realize you do not have five friends, this means you are already infected by this virus and Work already controls your life. If this is the case, go to the bar and stay until you make at least five friends. Then retry.
The picture below was devised as part of a stress test developed by researchers at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. The picture is used to
determine the amount of stress a patient has built up over a short time. Look at the attached picture of two dolphins jumping out of the water in tandem. The more differences you’ll notice in the two dolphins, the more stressed you are. The two are very similar, so if you can tell the
difference without looking hard, you should pack up work and go home immediately.

So after staying up most of the night watching CNN for updates on Charley, we set off on time, both to the airport and flightwise. Despite original plans to sleep through the flight, I decided to watch the inflight movies and play tetris instead
When we took off, Charley hadn’t actually hit Orlando, se we had to cirlce for a bit whilst we got permission to land. We were the first plane allowed to do so and so the airport was chaos. Bizarrely, once you have collected your luggage, you had to walk through a bit of the airport, only to hand it back and reclaim it later! The airport was a mess with bits of ceiling looking like it was about to collapse and quite a few buckets collecting water.
Luckily our Villa wasn’t hit and the worst we were affected was the night without power. We got to the villa around 6 PM EST settled in and then went on a drive to find a restaurant. Most places were powerless, so when we finally found an Italian that was with electricity it was packed. I was impressed with my meal, as were Glyn and Stef, but it looked like the others had made the wrong choice with the lasagne
After food, it was back to the villa for a much needed sleep.
To see the villa we stayed in click here
Hopefully will have passed when we get there. If not I may be back here and typing sooner than I thought
Kirsty’s little brother came over to stay for the past couple of days. He’s so cute that Rupert wants to keep him. Today we took him to see Garfield the Movie. Despite a slating from the critics I really enjoyed it
Unfortunately it’s been raining all day, so we didn’t get chance to play out on our blades
So now all packed and ready to go…8 hours early lol May try to get some sleep before the whole family invades, but am more likely to get peace on the plane!
There will still be updates on here for the next few weeks and will most likely post blog when I get back. Either way there will be plenty of photos on the gallery soon
Bless…my mentee Az bought me chocolates because it was the last day I’d mentor him today!
