I’ve had a brilliant day in which I’ve done nothing but slob out in front of the tv and pooter. Am very impressed that Blogshares seems to have sped up, or maybe that’s just since the pooters stopped chucking away memory

So to start my slobfest I finally got round to watching the Billy Connolly DVD Kath got me for Xmas – Billy Bites your Bum/Hand Picked by Billy. My sides still ache – the showbiz personality (Stockport, Manchester, Brisbane…) with the anal fixation is as funny as ever in the shows from the early 80s

Followed this with a few hours worth of soaps including watching Peter Kay’s guest appearance as Eric Gartside in Corrie. Apparently Peter Kay helped write this episode and it shows – this bloke is Brian Potter without the wheelchair, but the mother from hell instead – definitely one to go down in history.
Then if that wasn’t enough to give me square eyes – I had to watch Jennie Bond’s challenge in I’m a celebrity get me outta here (or as Rupert calls it – I’m a z list get me on tele!
). To give her credit I wouldn’t have lasted 10 minutes with rats crawling over me – but the jolly hockeysticks approach reminds me a bit too much of my ex English teacher.
My money’s on John or Alex to win – espescially after John’s I hate Jordan rant and Alex spilling all about life with George. All I ask is someone shuts Peter Andre up….

You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first?
Kath
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
the house
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
whatever they wanted
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
I can see Kaths student debts disappearing
5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
If I had any left it’d be through smileinvest of course lol
Suitable for 18 years or older. This is real life. Anything in this category is considered to be of subject matter relating to adult life, that happens day in and day out. Walking down the street is an 18 certificate. You have a life, well done.
Quiz shamelessly stolen from Stebash and not really suitable for under 18s.

lots of love and hugz

Got in to work today to find out Kirsty’s in hospital
Not quite sure what’s wrong, but hope you get better soon m8 x
In other news, am now the adoptive mother of the sea monkeys whilst Rupert is on secondment…now we’ve sorted out feeding, I’m sure they’ll be fine!
We went out onfriday night to commisserate Rupert’s last night on the team
After time was called in The Woolie we headed up to the market.
I was wearing my stupid boots which still haven’t been broken in properly, so I got piggy backs from Ste Rupert and Neil as far as Alphabet Zoo, when Ste had the brain wave of putting me on his shoulders…God it’s scary up there!
After screaming down half of Stockport town centre we decided it may be better for me to walk..
We did head towards Weatherspoons, but it was closed, so we decided to call it a night instead… or that was the plan til me and Ste decided we were hungry and went for a curry instead.
Did not feel like getting up early the next morning for the wedding! Still am glad I did, Rina looked absolutely stunning (go look at the gallery) and her and Naz look perfect together.
Afterwards it was back to the house and then shopping in Stockport with Kirsty ( I hate it when Rupert’s right
)
So today after spending yesterday in stoopid boots again my feet are killing me and I’ve been good for nothing but curling up on the sofa and watching tele with nan and Grandad whilst Sarah plays on the pooter.
Ho hum at least I’ll sleep well tonight!

Congratulations to Rina and the groom to be who are getting wed at Stockport Town Hall later today.
edit: The Wedding Photos are now on the gallery

But we’re not too sad as he’s only moving upstairs and it’s only for 3 months…..even so, we’re all
gonna miss him coz he’s soooooo sweet and cute!!! (sorry m8 couldn’t resist lol).
Anyways to mark the event all of girlies on the team (yes I’ve had a haircut and am now girlie) are gonna wear matching underwear just for Rupert!
If you really want to find out why trail through the archives over at Red Square (Do you think that was a big enough hint for Kev?!)
