Happy New Year’s Eve

Harry: What does this song mean? For my whole life I don’t know what this song means. I mean, “Should old acquaintance be forgot”. Does that mean we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happen to forget them we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot them?
Sally: Well, maybe it just means that we should remember that we forgot them or something. Anyway, it’s about old friends
In a change to the normal routine, I’m not going to spend New Year’s Eve doing karaoke with Kath at The Queens or Unity!
Instead we’re going out with her family and then on to what sounds like a very dodgy club (from Janet’s description!)
More tomorrow….Gotta go to bed now as have agreed to meet Stebash tomorrow AM before he’s in work…ahem we will see what time I wake up…..
Update
The gallery is now back up and running. Don’t think I mentioned the pics from our Xmas meal at Greens are now there…Click here to take a look
Thanks for all the nice supportive comments from everyone after the hack… Rupert in particular who keeps quoting Portugese at me!
As taken from Red Square:
Um diamante é uma parte de carvão que fure ao trabalho. – George S Clason
Only Sarah’s Space to go now, which may take a while as my FTP has now decided to stop working…grrr
What to do whilst watching Return of the King…
Paul’s got a list of things to do whilst watching The Lord of the Rings over on his site. Click here to take a look.
I’m Back
Thanks and Christmas wishes to the very nice person who hacked my site on Boxing Day with a lovely Brazillian virus.
Fortunately,we have the technology to re-build it
Sarah’s Space and The Gallery will be back shortly….and service will resume as normal
edit: P.S, For anyone who’s never too sure when I’m being sarcastic – I am now.
Peter Kay – Live at the Bolton Albert Hall
Mum got me the Peter Kay DVD for Xmas, so as soon as Nan and Grandad nodded off (not that they sleep in the afternoon
), it was put on.
We had tried getting tickets to his show in Manchester but they sold out stupidly quickly – so this was the next best thing.
I swear he could have written at least half of his script after spending time with Nan
Definitely one I’d recommend…Garlic…bread….Cheese cake…
